Junior Champion - Quebec Int'l Red & White Show 2011

The Royal Designer Sale took place in Uxbridge, Ontario and featured a beautiful lineup of cattle ranging from high-genomic heifers to elite show type and red & white individuals. Lot 55, a June 2010 model, Brigeen Reality Mapel-Red sold for $26,000. Mapel-Red was the winning Summer Yearling and Junior Champion at the Quebec International Red & White Show in St-Hyacinth, Quebec. A few days later she placed 2nd in the Summer Yearling class at the Canadian National Red & White Show at the Royal Winter Fair. The Reserve Junior Champion of the Royal's R&W show came from her competitive class.

Earlier in the year, she was 2nd at World Dairy Expo and won her class at the New York R&W NY Spring Show 2011.

Playball RLTY Logical-ET was the 2nd Winter Yearling (17) at the 2011 Iowa State Holstein Show, held on August 13, 2011. Logical was born January 28, 2010 (nearly two months younger than many of the other heifers in class) was one of 150 heifers exhibited for judge Brian Carscadden of Canada. She is from a VG Shottle from the well-known Morningview Converse Judy EX-93 GMD DOM family. Logical is also on the Genomic Locator List and is owned by West Grove Holsteins and was purchased at the 2011 Oklahoma State Sale.

The Maryland Spring Holstein Show was held on Saturday, April 2 in West Friendship, MD. One hundred fifty-six head were shown for judge Michael Heath of Westminster, MD to evaluate.

Hurtgen-Vue Reality Rae-Red Now VG-89 EX-MS

Rae-Red is one of the oldest daughters of Reality-Red. She just calved October 25 and was scored in January and gained a point to VG-89. She is getting closer to becoming Reality's first Excellent red daughter! Her Advent sister is now fresh, too.

Ritzi is the dam of a beautful red Hurtgen-Vue Reality-Red heifer calf, born January 2, 2011. This calf is one of the very few red and whites in the family. Ritzi's dam is the well-known Raven 3E-95 GMD DOM, then Elite 4E-92 and Emily 4E-94 GMD.
